2-Wheel Motorbike Operation - Refresher Option

Refresh your knowledge on operating a 2-wheel motorbike with this 2-wheel motorbike course refresher.

Course Overview:

Across New Zealand, motorbikes are an essential piece of equipment for so many businesses and operating it safely and efficiently is vital. Upskilling and retraining staff is part of the requirements of the H&S at Work Act 2015.

Our refresher 2-wheel motorbike course is ideal for current and new riders to establish their knowledge and understanding as well as learn new skills and safe riding techniques. This will include, up to date information on the health and safety legislation and its role in keeping people safe.

Ag Drive’s indoor motorbike training centre located in Cambridge Waikato was developed to offer practical based operator training in all weather conditions all year round. Our indoor course has been specifically designed with practical everyday use in mind. Sloping ground, different operating textures including rock, sand, and slippery clay make up our all-terrain experience. Our qualified instructors are on hand to coach you through the safe and correct operation of a light utility vehicle in this 2-wheel motorbike course. 

Course Outcomes:

  • Health and safety at work act (as required) and your responsibilities
  • Riding Environment hazards and control measures
  • Safety requirements of a rider
  • Controls and displays of the 2-wheel motorbike
  • Safe Riding techniques
  • Pre-ride checks and basic maintenance
  • Operate a 2-wheel motorbike on flat terrain
  • Operate a 2-wheel motorbike with mounted load 
  • Operate a 2-wheel motorbike on rolling terrain

    On completion of the course, you will receive a competency certificate on what was covered throughout the duration of the course, you will also go home with refined knowledge and best practices on 2-wheel motorbike operation.

    Mode: Theory and Practical

    Duration: 1 Day Theory (40%) and Practical (60%) Training (8:30am-4pm) 

    Equipment required: Sensible clothing for all-weather training, covered toe shoes
