Course Overview:

Across New Zealand, motorbikes are an essential piece of equipment for so many businesses and operating it safely and efficiently is vital. Upskilling and retraining staff is part of the requirements of the H&S at Work Act 2015.

Our 2-wheel motorbike safe operation course is ideal for current and new riders to establish their knowledge and understanding as well as learn new skills and safe riding techniques. This will include, up-to-date information on the health and safety legislation and its role in keeping people safe.

Course Outcomes:

Health and safety at work act (as required) and your responsibilities
Riding Environment hazards and control measures
Safety requirements of a rider
Controls and displays of the 2-wheel motorbike
Safe Riding techniques
Pre-ride checks and basic maintenance
Operate a 2-wheel motorbike on flat terrain
Operate a 2-wheel motorbike with mounted load
Operate a 2-wheel motorbike on rolling terrain

On completion of the course, you will receive a competency certificate on what was covered throughout the duration of the course, you will also go home with refined knowledge and best practices on 2-wheel motorbike operation.

Fees: $499 GST inclusive per person.

Delivery: Short theory module & practical training.

Equipment required: Sensible clothing for all-weather training, covered shoes.

Travel: Please note that travel costs to the designated training venue (outside the general Hamilton area) will be charged at $1 GST inclusive per kilometre.
